I love fall and each year I look forward to bringing my favorite fall fashion out of summer hibernation. I believe in investing money on quality items that are classic and never go out of style. Leather is absolutely one of my fashion must-haves, so I wanted to share 3 leather outfit ideas you need to try. These are based on leather pants, a leather jacket and a leather skirt. The beauty of these pieces is they instantly elevate your basics, such as a simple linen tee, sweater or button down shirt.
I’ve done the hard work for you and found the most stylish leather pants, leather jackets and leather skirts to suit every girl.
Tell me friends, do you love leather too? What leather pieces do you have in your wardrobe? I’d love to chat with you and hear your thoughts!

I am obsessed with online shopping from the comfort of my lounge room (or bed), in my comfy pajamas. Who wants to traipse around for hours trying to find something in particular, when you can pour a glass of wine, put on some reality tv and click to your hearts content. Not sure what you’re up to this weekend, but it’s safe to say mine will definitely involve this.
So I wanted to share the best sales to shop online this weekend, including a major Shopbop sale that ends at midnight tonight. This is the shopping event I wait for every quarter. They have 20% off all orders under $500 and 25% off on orders of $500 or more… but only until midnight PT on Friday 29th September (that’s tonight guys, so hurry!).
For my fellow designer handbag fans, you can even get my Chanel 2.55 Classic Flap handbag on sale… and that is like finding a unicorn. I absolutely love mine, it’s a beautiful piece to have and as I told my husband, they’re actually a great investment because Chanel handbags never lose their value as the company always puts up prices each year.
I hope you all enjoy a gorgeous weekend and squeeze in some time for the best sales to shop online…
Best Sales to Shop Online this Weekend
SHOPBOP: 20% off orders under $500 and 25% off on orders over $500 with code EOTS17

My advice? Run, don’t walk to check out the designer handbags from their designer fashion boutique What Goes Around Comes Around including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Celine, Balenciaga and more and snap them up at 25% off! Amazing.
The Shopbop discount code for this sale is EOTS17. Just enter this at checkout, happy shopping friends!
Woohoo! It’s the perfect time to shop new season fashion from the best designer brands… usually you can never get a discount on fashion, shoes and accessories that are just in for the current season.
Is this one of the sale’s you like to shop too? I’d love to hear what you bought or have your eye on.
I love a bright pop of color and firmly believe fuchsia tops are a must-have for every girl. This gorgeous color is perfect year-round and instantly elevates the most simple outfits. Take a pair of your favorite jeans, pop on a bright pink fuchsia top and finish with a cute pair of ballet flats. This combo is always chic, on-trend and will make you look beautifully put together.
These are a few of my favorite bright outfits with a pop of bright pink… which one do you like best? I’m also sharing the best fuchsia tops with you below, they’re the perfect wardrobe addition and with many on sale, they will give you a wardrobe update with out breaking the bank.

I love awards season and all the fashion, glamour and style of the red carpet. It’s also a fabulous place to spot trends and as predicted in my fall trends post last week, silver is having a major moment. I’ve rounded up the best Emmy red carpet fashion looks for 2017 and am excited to hear what you think.
Which look is your favorite? Please leave a comment and vote, it will be fun to hear what everyone thinks and who takes out our the best dressed award!

How fabulous are these Alinda Over The Knee Boots! Ooooh! They’re super gorgeous, come in a lot of colors and best of all, totally budget friendly. They look like dupes for far more expensive designer options like Stuart Weitzman OTK boots.
I’m also in love with this Veda Max Classic Leather Jacket, it’s a feminine cut that looks equally fabulous with jeans and dresses. I have a very similar Vince leather jacket just like this one and have worn it year after year – it never goes out of style! Unlike other leather jackets it doesn’t have a really stiff boxy shape, so it flatters your body beautifully and looks amazing with dresses.
I hope you enjoy checking out my currently covet list, what do you think of my picks? Which is your fave? I hope you all enjoy a beautiful weekend and thank you so much for being here and part of Style Elixir. It truly means so much to me!

This week I came across a hilarious video from Ava Ryan as Fashion Boss Lady for W magazine and had to share it with you! Ava talks us through this seasons top fall fashion trends and of course, coats make the list as she exclaims, “What’s the point of living, if you can’t dress like a fabulous carpet?”. Yaaas, girl! She also shares that her favorite fall fashion trend is feathers, “Big Bird is the fashion icon of our time”.
Definitely take a moment to watch the video below, it’ll add a sprinkle of laughter to your day. Inspired by this, I also wanted to share a few of my top fall fashion outfits. Tell me ladies, what are you most excited to wear this fall?

Oh how I loved my wedding day! I’ve been reminiscing and watching our incredible wedding video this week (ok, truth be told I watch it every week!)… and it made me think that I wanted to share my bridal makeup look with you. One of the most important things to me was looking like myself… I didn’t want to walk through the church doors and have Chris wonder, who is that?! It can be tempting to try new looks and go super glam for the big day, but I feel if there’s one occasion to really be your authentic self, albeit an elevated version, it’s your wedding day. Plus, you want to look back at the photos in 20 years and not say to yourself, “what on earth was I thinking?!”
I love effortless, pretty makeup and wanted to have a soft, feminine bridal makeup look. My vision was to do a bronzed ‘lit from within’ base, illuminated bright eyes with gorgeous lashes, a peachy rosy cheek glow and pretty pink lip stain. When it comes to doing my own makeup, I am quite good at it – but knew my bridal party would love to have someone do theirs. Also to be honest, it was very appealing for me to just sit back, relax and let someone else do my makeup on the wedding day.
I’m a huge believer in referrals, so I asked my super talented wedding hair stylist if she could recommend any fab makeup artists she had worked with on weddings and that’s how I found Kate Dove, makeup artist extraordinaire! After stalking her on Instagram here, I instantly knew Kate was perfect. Seriously, check out her Instagram to see her stunning makeup transformations and reviews on super popular makeup products – such amazing inspiration and tips!
We met a week before the wedding to do a makeup trial (I wanted to do this close to the wedding so we would remember everything) and it was such a fun experience! Kate knows so much about makeup and had the best of the best products in her arsenal. It was amazing to see her work and I was thrilled with how she created the natural, effortless and pretty vision I had.
My bridesmaids were equally in love with their makeup looks too, so much that they’ve asked me since the wedding if they can go to Kate for makeup lessons! I have never found a makeup artist that gave me a look I loved… until Kate. Before this experience, I was always scared to have other people do my makeup, because no one ever got it right and there’s nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable.
Feeling fabulous and confident in your own skin is what great makeup is all about. It isn’t always about changing your face dramatically, although that can be fun to play with. When it comes to wedding makeup, focus on enhancing your best features and stepping out as an elevated version of yourself. Kate listened and took the time to genuinely understand my vision… she’s amazing! If you’re looking for an incredible makeup artist for weddings and special events, Kate is definitely your girl! It’s also fun following her Instagram here for lots of inspo and pretty photos.
I’d love to hear from YOU! How do you feel about getting your makeup done? Do you like someone doing it or do you prefer to do your own? If you’re married, what vibe did you choose for your wedding day? I’m also sharing the products used to create my bridal makeup look below, including a fabulous spray to make it last all day and night.
With my beautiful sister, Georgia, on the morning of my wedding. Loved our makeup!

I absolutely love cool weather style and these are the best booties for Fall! They’re comfy, cute and super affordable. I’ll always love classic black boots, but over the past few seasons have really come to adore lighter hues like grey and stone. I just find them so versatile and incredibly chic!
I’d love to hear what kind of booties you like wearing? Do you have a favorite color? Also, what do you think of my picks below? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!
