Happy Friday!! Isn’t this time of year so fabulous? I’m such a fan of the holidays… there is just more sparkle in the world! And who doesn’t love sparkle? People seem to be happier, you catch up with family and friends, eat delicious food, shop for gifts – I just love it! Another requisite part of the holidays is certainly travel, whether it’s a long-haul flight or an hour-long drive, most of us will be on the move.
For those who’ve come know me, you’ll know I’m completely obsessed with being organized and that extends to ensuring I have all the little things I need to make my trip extra comfortable. Today, I wanted to share with you how I pack for on-board a flight and what I think every girls needs in her gorgeous print tote to relax and arrive in style…
My Travel Essentials…
The Perfect Tote: Given Goods Co. Pyramid Leather Trim Tote (I love this bag, so stylish and practical!)
Pashmina: Stay warm and cosy with a gorgeous scarf (I always wrap them around my shoulders if I get cold)
Face Wipes: Perfect for refreshing on-the-go, I like the Yes To Cucumber Wipes
Lip Gloss: Love this Color Lust glossy lip stain from Victoria’s Secret (it’s always in my handbag)
Mascara: I’m addicted to Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal Mascara
Blush: Dust this Victoria’s Secret Luminous Mineral Blush Duo to arrive looking fresh
Perfume: A spritz of my favorite fragrance, Cleopatra by Tocca, instantly makes me feel 1000% more glamorous!
Sunglasses: These Prada Sunglasses are my go-to’s (and seem to look gorgeous on everyone)
Entertainment: I recommend an iPod and thanks to Chris for my recent birthday gift, I now have an iPad Air
A Good Book: Confession? I love celeb biographies! I’m currently reading this book by Tori Spelling
Water Bottle: I always carry this one from Black + Blum – it looks like glass and comes with a charcoal filter to purify water
I’d love to know… what are some of your must-have travel essentials? I thought I’d also mention, the Pyramid Tote doesn’t only look good – it does good too! This piece has been created by artisans and women in developing countries. Through fair trade practices and working with nonprofit organizations, the proceeds of this handbag provide education and training to help women up-skill and lead more fulfilling lives.
